RULES
#1: 18+ Members Only
This is an 18+ space, for adults only.
#2: English Language Only (For Now)
As English is my native language, for now all conversation should be done in English for moderation purposes. If I get moderators in the future who are fluent/native in other languages, then I will allow discussion in those languages in language-specific areas.
#3: Be Nice
No bullying, call-out posts, belittling others, etc. Don't pick fights or post passive aggressive comments.
#4: No Slurs / Derogatory Language / Discrimination
This server has absolutely zero tolerance for homophobia, transphobia, racism, etc. However, you are welcome to share and discuss writing that includes these topics, as long as your writing is not supporting or encouraging discriminatory views.
#5: No Kink Shaming
Within the NSFW and DDDNE spaces, there may be talk of kinks you personally find uncomfortable. If it makes you uncomfortable, leave the chat. If you think a kink discussion is legitimately crossing a line of the rules laid down for this server (for example, bringing underage characters into it) then report the message for a moderator to handle.
#6: Use Discretion in Talking About NSFW and DDDNE Topics
Avoid talking about these topics in SFW channels. Add content warnings if talking about sensitive content.
#7: Don't Share Identifying Information
Essentially, don't dox yourself or give other people info that would make it easier for them to dox you. This includes information such as: photos that include your face, information on where you live (broad information like country/state is acceptable if you're comfortable sharing that, but more specific information like your city/town is not), your full name, links to socials like FB/Instagram if they have identifying information on them, etc.
GUIDELINES
Topics That Are Not Allowed in Forum Posts:
The following topics are not allowed as they are topics that I am not personally comfortable moderating.
- Depictions of graphic animal abuse/graphic child abuse/CSA/beastiality. Mentioning that these events have occurred/discussing their impact is acceptable, but actual depictions of them are not.
- Underage sexual content (for the purposes of this server, that means sexual content depicting anyone under 18 years old).
- Questions about immediate medical crises (go to a medical professional or contact a trusted person directly!)
- IRL Porn/Nudes
- IRL politics/political debate in threads, unless specifically related to the hobby (even then, please keep it respectful). Political themes within your bots/writing are acceptable as long as your writing is not promoting or supporting discriminatory views and your writing has appropriate content warnings.
WARNINGS AND BANS
Stage 1: If you break a rule, such as forgetting to add Content Warnings, you will be given a reminder. We all make mistakes - as long as you correct your behavior it won't be held against you.
Stage 2: If you refuse to change your behavior / repeat this behavior regularly, you will receive a message from a moderator directly addressing the issue and receive a formal warning.
Stage 3: If you receive three formal warnings, it will result in a ban. You will be notified of the reason you are being banned.
IMMEDIATE BANS
There are two exceptions to the above warning and ban system.
- Minors: If a user is found to be under 18, they will be banned immediately.
- Discrimination: As noted earlier, this is a zero-tolerance space for discrimination such as homophobia, transphobia, racism, misogyny, etc. While these themes may be discussed/portrayed in bots and fiction, if you are behaving in a discriminatory manner or promoting discriminatory behavior, it will result in an immediate ban.
